Our modern toile takes on a new perspective as a performance textile. It is reinterpreted with an inverted design, rendering the pattern in white set against a field of layered colors, lines, and textures. The dense landscape, at once spatial and sparse, is similar in formation to the original yet vastly different in composition. Woven in a stria of blues out of 100% solution dyed acrylic.
