Betu: Clay + Rust

BETU’s starting point was an antique Japanese print, but the result is completely unique. Inspired by the Japanese concept of ma — which stresses the importance of intervals between solid shapes — the hand-cut pattern is composed of triangles that appear and disappear across the fabric. Printed in Clay + Rust on sand colored linen.
