Tropics: Seaglass

Inspired by a box of Brook’s childhood paintings of her mother’s pansy garden, Tropics is an evocative floral. Like memories resurfacing and finding their way back, the pattern is layered with depth and bright contrast. Consisting of loose textured linework and hand-painted cut-collage flowers, Tropics is imbued with playful, free-flowing movement — at once meandering and intersecting, emerging and receding, dancing and grounding. With a color palette inspired by Gauguin, Tropics Seaglass is printed on natural Irish linen, this print reimagines the whimsical floral.
